i'm not sure what's wrong here... i suspect that our emails are getting blocked for some reason. I don't know why that would be.. maybe our email server is not on some approved list that your address will accept from.... it seems that the problem is not on our end, because you can get a normal email to go out

so that means we are sending emails out, but when you put in your mobile address they don't go out.

word of warning.. you need to have you email address set before the match is played in order for it to work.. you can't switch email delivery options in the midst of the game, because the emails have already been generated and are sitting in a queue waiting to go out.

they are blocking and reason for that is in your mailserver host 208.75.213.45 dns records, reverse dns does not work. that is probably why many other e-mailservers are also blocking emails from @buzzerbeater.com addresses.

The confirmation code did not pass my e-mail deliverer ("Telenor online"-address). Changed to a deliverer with more liberal spam filter, the confirmation code came through. Anxious to see what happens when your server starts to send mails from the matches.

EDIT: Ops! The e-mail confirmation code came through with Telenor. It took only 48 minutes!

hi, any chance you're going to fix this? your email servers host should resolve both ways (from IP to name and back) or some email servers block your emails for security reasons. This is a must for every email server and is easy to fix by dns server provider.

it is not yet.
e-mails are coming from 208.75.213.45 and in dns it is set to be buzzerbeater.com

but when you check buzzerbeater.com from dns it gives 208.75.213.39
so it means that given information is not correct - reverse dns does not work and it is violation to RFC1912
btw your e-mail server software (HELO) is saying that e-mails are coming from zonedefense.buzzerbeater.com...

I imagine you dont want to change buzzerbeater.com IP address. what you need to do is set another domain name to your email server 208.75.213.45 (why not zonedefense.buzzerbeater.com) and make sure that in DNS this Name you set resolves to 208.75.213.45.
Idea is that IP = Domain name and Domain name = IP
