It would also solve the problem if people just listed players at the lowest price they'd be willing to accept.

There are too many different things which can cause slow downs across the internet, and the majority BB cannot do anything about as they have nothing to do with this site.

The problem with listing a guy at the "lowest price you are willing to accept" is, when that player doesnt sell, you have to take another 3 days (or 4 to sell him at a high peak time) to re list him.

I dont know about most players, but for me, the guys im selling dont get the highest priority for game minutes/training because you have no more control after you list that player to sell.

Im due a glitch because this one costed me some major money. Besides, a glitch for 1 or 2 mins give people a chance still. but when its longer than the final 3 min bidding process, thats tough to swallow.

Yeah its frustrating. Unfortunately I don't think there is any way to solve this problem for your case.
Hopefully this incident can show the BBs why there needs to be a way to avoid this.

...not to mention that the player was up to 97% when i sold him.

this sale cost me probably $300,000 dollars if not more if i could have bought him back and sold him again.

I havent turned a profit on a player in almost 2 seasons. this leaves a bad taste in the proverbial mouth.

Aggh, I was bidding on this player when all of the sudden I couldn't load for about 10 minutes and came back to see him go for 430600 was sad.

I was about to buy him back if the bidding stalled, but didnt even have the chance.

To have a player like him at 97% go for less than half his listed value is very very disheartening.

I trained that sensation ID up from a proficent and that prolific rebounding up from a strong.

its almost as if i just poured that training down the drain.

Try reporting it in the bug forum. There is probably nothing that can be done, but no harm in reporting it just incase there is a possible solution.

but this isnt a game bug

its a game philosophy bug.

the only way we have to monitor player sales is to be willing and ready to buy a player back. When we cant even do that, we are a the mercy of what the last query some server was able to send/receive.

i guess i list it.

Well perhaps post in the suggestion forum and come up with a way to fix this.
I'm sure your sale was not the only one affected during this period, so I'm sure there are many managers that are unhappy that would all like to see something done.

Very harsh. This is the reason that I never list players for less than I would accept. If you listed your guy at 800k this probally is not an issue.

As I said though, it does indeed suck! But hopefully it is a lesson for all of us

i listed him before at 750k and couldnt get a bid (2 weeks ago)

people are looking for 1) bargains or 2) free agents. A "normal" player like him wont get a bid when he is listed at 800k unless my timing is very very good.

Even so, the bid comes with an hour of the deadline.

in this new market, selling players is much much tougher.

I mean what do you do? take 4 weeks to sell a player by listing him at less each week or list him low enough to get him some attention?

I guess a sensational isnt nearly what it used to be. Cause i promise you, i tried selling this guy like 4/5 times and couldnt do it.
