Even despite having a trainer with career extension speciality, skills still can drop at an age of 32, if the sublevel is very low (I think) because career extension just slows the rate of skill drop.
Experience will keep rising as long as a player keep playing. I'm not sure if the rate of experience increase drop at an older age though. But to an extent, I guess it can alleviate those skill drops.
