In addition, if he gets the doctor and it happens to not make a difference with the current injury, it will still make a difference for future ones. So if he is going to get a better doctor for prevention, he might as well buy it now and see if it helps speed up the healing process for the current injury. Even if it's one day that might help the player get back for a match.

but still it wont help much coz his GS would be really bad after a 3 weeks injury and i dont think he would do much in that comeback game with a mediocre GS.....

Maybe, maybe not. If he got back for a playoff game and you trained GS to make sure he was ready then I think that would help.

Besides, that was not my point anyway. My point was getting back a day earlier is just a BONUS, not the reason for getting a new doctor. I said if you plan on getting a new doctor anyway for prevention purposes, there is no reason at all to wait. By not waiting you are preventing further injuries from being 3 weeks long and you could get a player back more quickly. Read the entire post and I think you may understand that the quote you picked out was not the resounding theme of it.

I read the whole post and i agree with the point to look for a better doc for preventing injuries but i dont understand the thing that y r we fighting hard to get a player back from injury just a day earlier when he would do really less for the team in the match(if he is cured a day before the match).....i know that my quote might not seem to be resounding the theme of the thread but but i just had this strange question in mind which i have already asked....

Nobody is "fighting" to get him back earlier. The consensus is that even if it is quicker, then it's not a ton quicker.

You still are not understanding what I posted and if you do you are not relaying that information. I said if you are getting a better doctor anyway, then there is no reason to wait. So if it shortens the injury then that's a bonus and you might as well buy the doctor because the main purpose is to prevent injuries and there is no reason not to buy one right away.

I also gave you a scenario in which training GS would allow him to be in okay GS when he comes back. So say he comes back a little earlier and makes it back by a playoff or relegation game, then it would be key that the injury healed quicker and he is in decent GS because of the training. Do I recommend training GS normally? No, but if it's important to have a guy in good GS so you can advance in the playoffs or stay afloat, then why not?

I lost my PG for 2 weeks, then I lost my C and most expensive player or 3 weeks, while he was still out I lost my best performing player my SF for 2 weeks, he is still out and now I have lost my PF (and 9th in my division's MVP voting last season) for 4 weeks. Injures really suck but there is not much you can do about them.

Don't spend too much on a better doc though (salarywise as well). Since your #2 salary player only makes 13k, I don't think you should spend too much money each week on a doctor. At your level you could probably buy a reasonable replacement with the money you're saving if you get a serious injury. Only your #1 player (50k salary) might be worth the doc (but the chance that specifically he gets injured is not THAT big).

At least that's how I see it.
