for me it start with a note about cup games, i see your point here more then with the training link but also think you use the "bug" to inflationary.

And it seems that i am not the only one thinking like that, else the thread would have been moved to the bug section.

When the content of the box is displaying the Cup game, its header should be updated to imply that.


Just because you want it to work that way does not mean it is a bug. Or else you would be posting it in the bug forum and not the suggestion forum

Notice the box actually says "scrimmages" to tell you information about scrimmages. Not cup. So by functionality, it is doing the correct thing by telling you information about scrimmages.

It is not close tho show what is important in that box.
When there is a cup-game, you are interested to know the time of the... cup-game, and not that the scrimage game will not be available.

It is like writing on a menu what you cannot order under lunch, because it only served during breakfast.

It would have been a little better, if it was ONLY called "Cup games" and writing (something similar to current information you get when there are no scrimmage games) about the cup games that you cannot be part of due to the fact that you had been eliminated.

BUT, this will also be much less efficient and informative than having the box name change upon the status of games you can be part of.

But the Box is NOT AT ALL about the cup game, the box is about your scrimmage. How would calling it "Cup Box" any better?

I mean, sure we can rename for example the "Roster Page" into "Milk and Sugar" and the "Finances Page" into "Acapulco", but how does that add anything to the game.

First lets repeat what I wrote on the head of this thread.
"When a team is still playing in the cup, that game should be under a "Cup-box" and not under a "Scrimmage" one.

Meaning - under the "Manage My Team" page, and only when the team are still playing on the Cup's tournament, the "Scrimmage" box should be updated and be called "Tournament" or "Cup"."

After you maybe have been able to read it this time, think again on what you've wrote.

Describing the cup-game on a scrimage box is wrong.

No I´m not "trolling", I´m actually asking a question there.

And thanks again Pini for telling me what I´m thinking and not thinking, and what I´m understanding and not understanding. Clearly one of your big strenghts, predicting what other people think, how they will act and what they will do.

You have a "Scrimmage Box" which gives you information about your availabilty for Scrimmages. And this box is telling you that you cannot participate in any Scrimmage Game, because you´re playing in the cup. That´s perfectly fine.

How does renaming that box into "Cup Box" change anything for the better, as it STILL consists information about your Scrimmage Status?

The far more consequent way of "fixing" that "problem" would be removing the Link to the Cup game from the Scrimmage Box and just leaving the "You cannot ... because you´re still in the Cup" message the only information in that Box, but actually adding that direct Link to the Cup Game is a thing of user-friendlyness, isn´t it?

And here you are confest that the cup-box should not be part of a "Scrimage" box, and that it still needs to appear...
So, what does this mean???
That the "Scrimage" box is not a place to describe the cup-game, but that the cup-game information is needed.
So what is more reasonable than calling the box a cup-game when it displays the cup-game information?
