If DMI is moving every week than there is no bug. DMI refllects the sublevels of gameshape.

As it is, I don't see the problems you see with your gameshape. Its not an exact science. There is no perfect number of minutes to keep players at proficient every week and sometimes players don't seem to be as high as one thinks they should. I have a player that hasn't been above or below respectable all season and I played him ideal minutes the past 2 weeks.

I'm agree with your answer as i actually asked one BB sometime ago (his answer were 'minor injuries' , which we don't know ).

As a U21 NT manager, i hope i can provide a answer that could satisfy my NT players' owner as they've put a lot of effort to train my country player.

i have my pf 127 days or so, he playes 68-75mins per week, nearly never been above or bellow respectable game shape, althrough his dmi changes from 92k to 98k during nearly 2 seazons, the only one week he had game shape 9 was when i trained game shape last seazon finals.

i think it can be caused of his poor stamina, since i have player who actually plays 80-96mins per week and stays atleast at strong for second straight seazon, pf has stamina lvl 2, and pg lvl 7

I've only got one data point for this conversation, but I have a SG that has been a pure backup player, rarely plays more than 48, and is proficient GS and strong stamina. Just recently he's starting in scrimmages, and I'm going to see how that affects him.

I don't believe the stamina and sweet spot GS hypothesis.

I have two players with 2 stamina, one who plays near 70 minutes per week and is often in 8 or 9 GS. The other typically gets fewer minutes and is up and down in terms of stamina.

Then my other two trainees who get similar ~70 min per week have 5 stamina and aren't in any better gameshapes over time.

I personally think there's just a lot of randomness, and we users tend to come up with ideas about what influences it (I myself have too), but I would bet that the most important variable is simply total minutes per week.

I personally think there is a hidden attribute. I fully believe my player, Kyle Noble, is "allergic" to game shape. I am a believer that the minutes from a 3 week span determine game shape fully, but I also believe there is a hidden factor that some players are just more apt to be in bad game shape. This is true in real life...it's not like Shaq could play himself into shape the last half of his career, right?

The reason why I use Noble as an example....I give the generally acceptable amount of minutes every single week and I have only gotten him to 9GS once or twice the last 2 seasons or so. I even trained GS last season and he would stay at 8GS.
