Wow. So the resounding feedback I'm getting is that trying to land a superstar (or two stars) off the waiver wire at this point for me probably isn't my best move. It would be good to keep some cash on hand for the start of my new season in my potentially new league (demotion), and also good to increase the number of seats in my coliseum.

I'd say in a week to 10 days from now, you'll begin to see some better players on the wire going for cheaper prices. Right now the prices are high for the star players. Once they are no longer eligible for the playoffs, I expect their prices will go down. Also, when the season is over and teams begin to look at next season, you will see a lot more players on the fa wire go for prices that you'll be better able to afford.
