playing against full court press id say he done well with 7 to , his other stats far outweigh them , against any other offence i agree 7 to is bad , but not tonight

To be honest, I think ratings hardly mean anything. Skills are the important factor.

I think different people will put a different amount of emphasis on ratings but personally I think this type of stance is a bit unwise. I could be wrong too.

I think the rating system is just off. In 9 minutes of play I had a guy go 1-7 with 1 RB and 2 Points for the highest rating on my team.

Even with great Defense that is odd.

What I get from ratings is how the player performs on a certain position, without considering a lot of how he actually played. For example, I noticed that ratings are better when the time on court is 10 minutes than when is, say, 30. But I'd probably get more insight on a player atching a gam live and seeing his perfomance than with ratings.

But, let's face it, is much more useful than DMI ;)

Quite often, that's just a stamina issue. Although many players do tend to have their best/highest ratings in games where they play low minutes.
