Hey guys, can't say I'm glad to demote but it is a relief to be out of the deathtrap that is II.4. I've never played in a league with anybody here but I do recognize a few of you from private leagues or the offsite forum and I've been knocked out of the cup by Clovis once so those games are circled on the calendar :)

As far as this season goes, I'm not tanking or anything, I just demoted because I did an awful job managing a very winnable relegation series against a good manager. Haven't looked at the salaries in here yet but I'll probably carry this team for most of the season. Hopefully that's good enough to make a nice playoff run. Either way good luck in S26 and Merry Christmas to all of you!

Second Team:
Miłwaukee Lethargy
Fun Fact: If you changed your team name to "Welcome to the Jungle", the Great 8 would have 2 teams named after Etta James cover songs:

Have fun in II.4. Hope you've gotten in a lot of team training for Outside Shooting :)

Nearly everyone here has much more experience than I have. And you all seem to know each other. I feel like such an outsider. Makes me want to go back to my cute little D.IV league =P

I have to tell you, that was a thing of beauty by Yuck. I wouldn't feel too badly about it. Most managers don't spend half a season preparing for their relegation series so you had no reason to expect anything but an easy series. He would have gotten me as well.

Welcome new guys, and Merry Christmas to everyone.

The 1 thing I can tell you about our league, as long as I've been here, there is really no animosity here. I encourage everyone to partake in our friendly forums. Lets keep it 1 of the most active league forums!!!

Good Luck, Fellows!

Good stuff. I am ready to actually put a competitive team on the floor. This sitting back and fixing my finances while my trainees got better really sucked. It's been three or four seasons since I built a team with the idea of contending. Which of course means I will spend the year plagued by injuries.
