Yes, exactly... The commentaries are different... And look at the NT game of Nigeria vs. USA, you can see that Nigeria played CT and USA TIE...

You only can't tell who played what when you get the standard 'team X put more effort then team Y' message, then you know that either one team has played CT, and other Normal, or one team Normal, and other TIE...

But if you pumped up Enthusiasm to 8-9, and your opponent didn't (now you can be sure by looking at his last 3 league games), you can play Normal and still win... Normal at 8 is approximately the same as CT at 5...

Any hard data to confirm that ? In my experience people with high enthusiasm (bigger than 8) trying to play normal almost always loose when facing an opponent playing CT.

If you have the better team, you're surely going to win...

This is my last year semi-final, I played Normal with 8, opponent played CT with 5 (he told me), and I crushed him cause I had way better team:

But this match was under the old game engine. The CT/N/TIE system has changed a lot.
Am I wrong?

You're not wrong, now TIE/N/CT have smaller effect then before :) That's what BBs said...

I´m feeling ironic tone in your post... ;-)
Two things are clear:
CT is stronger than before because it affects to everything, including faults!
CT is independent of enthusiasm, so the effect is the same with E=1 or E=10.
Question is: Can a high enthusiasm (more Def and Rbd) equilibrate the CT effect (more of everyhting)?
Of course, it depends of the particular team. Very strong teams can take risks, but for similar teams the risk can be very high.
Second question is: How much better shall a team be to take unneccesary risks in a 1-match playoff?

Where did you get this from?

I think CT still affects only defense and rebounding, but you can't see it in the ratings anymore... BBs said it will look more like random now, couple of rebounds more for you if you play CT and so... If you don't have good shooters, I can't see how they can become better only by playing CT...

I am in 1st place, in first round I will play against team no. 4 which will definately play CT, but playing for me CT would be suicide, because I am thinking about Finals and promotion....so I am gonna take Normal, plus good tactics choise, plus that my opponent hasnt TIEd last 5 games, plus My team is stronger....so I guess there is no broblem of playing Normal.....dont need to wory so much about these TIE/N/CT....need to take into account also how good is your team...and your tactics choise.....

Yeah well, good luck to you but you need to know that you have a good chance of loosing, playing normal vs. crunch.

In the french league, last season's winner in first division got his ass kicked in this year's cup quartefinals by a team from DIV. He played normal with 12 in enthusiasm, against crunch for the DIV.

I´m also in first position of my league (II.3 of spain) with 20-2.
For me, it is very risky to play normal in 1-match playoff. You risk all the season work and just one lucky day of your opponent...
Arriving to the final with low enthusiasm is not the end of the world. You have 3 matches to plan you strategy.
You will see tomorrow night posts after PO matches...
I´m not telling that most normal vs CT will loose, but more than expected.
