May I add, unless you're a supporter, then you have 3-10 days choice? :)

On topic, the best time to sell is now LOL. Been checking the transfer list lately, seems that prices rocketed. Probably because of the new salary limit.

why would the salary limit raise prices? If anything i would assume it would lower them overall by a little bit. My thought would be that the salary restriction would make it so less teams are willing to bid on new players because they are not willing to pay the over extension tax, so with less teams competing over each listed player you'd think the prices would be going down. if you think the prices have gone up since they implemented it what do you think would be the cause of that.

I meant salary limit, as in: teams can't buy high salaried players. Their price dropped, since not many teams are allowed to buy them. But players at something like 40-70k have gotten more expensive. Trainees probably, just like trainers.

I've seen a lot of weird prices around my league, a 50k SG who was bought for 500k last season, was sold for 900k. Few mediocre/horrible trainees went for about 300k..

Anecdotally, I've seen final selling prices less than expected during the playoffs and at the very start of the season.
Other than that, they seem to be pretty similar. I have not conducted an actual study to verify this, it is only from eyeballing the transfer list and buying and selling players over the last two years.

For me, the best time of day to list a player is from 9 AM to 3 PM (Eastern time). This is the time that European users are most active, and they make up a majority of the userbase. The best days to sell IMO are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Was just wondering if its best to sell at the start of the season, at the end, or during the season ? Maybe before playoffs ?

Just before playoffs usually sells better.

I find saturday 21:30 CET a great time to sell, since you've gotten most games out of the player for the week before you have to pay him again, there's a lot of users online (2000+) and half of them have just received money from their game.
