There must be a legend, that if Ammeter will make FT, the crisis of BB will be gone, and we will have 50k users again

Shaq is better than most FT shooters in BB.

The fact is, that very rarely a player with decent jump shot shoots below 80%. I do not think that Ray Allen trained FT a lot, but shooting for 3 at around 40% makes a player shoot FT over 80%. In BB we have no co-relation between jump shot and FT and I believe that there should be some. Like this:
JS-25%
JR-10%
FT-65%
as statistics taken into consideration when deciding if FT is good or not.

Then you would be wrong, as he was known to train FTs just about every single day of his life.

Bad call than. Put any decent mid-range/long-range shooter in Ray's place. All of them have percentage over 75%, mostly well over 80%. It is unrealistic to have better shooting in 3 pointers than in free throws - and a certain player was discussed (7095293).
GM-Manon referred to Shaq
"And as in comparison to most BB-players he has actually spent a lot time to practice FT's i guess."
Shaq did not succeed in FT not because he did not train it, but because he was lousy jump shooter.
BB players mostly do not train much FT, but having legendary jump shot and scoring 30% of FT is against common sense.
That is why I think, that some other factors should be taken into consideration when deciding if a FT is made or not.

JS and JR are the ones to pick and as they are considered by many to be underpowered such a move could bring more balance and would be more realistic. IS/ID/RB monster - even after spending time training FT would never be able to reach the level of a great jump shooter. Like Shaq, Wilt, Howard were never able to eliminate their weak spot. I am not telling eliminate FT as a skill, but let some other factors decide to some extend (30%, 20%, 40%?) the result of a free throw (JS,JR) to eliminate odd situations.

I've just checked my roster - no players with legendary JS and 1-3 FT ;). That was just an example. I have no trouble with adopting to the rules - well to some extend as I am still looking for a B3 victory;)..

Well realism has nothing to do with it.

but BB is advertised as "BuzzerBeater, the world's largest free online basketball manager game.", so I believe that the closer "the rules that are within BB" are to the real game, the better it is for us- players and as it is better for us it is better for the game itself.

When I read the forums i feel that many of us think of GE as a simulator where real game happens and that our players dribble, pass and take shots, make their decisions on passing or taking shots and so on. Some don't - they think of it as a script, algorithm, where you put some data and it gives you the random result based on probabilities.

Nevertheless my post is rather to the topic "Top priority..." "what is to be improved" or so...

Happy New Year!
