Depends. After winning the bid on my current trainer, I'm starting to regret not hiring internally. I paid 5m+ for a 30k salary level 7 coach, while if I hired internally, I would have saved 1m even though I will pay 10k more salary each week.
But if you calculate it, I would still be paying less compared to bidding unless I keep him (the staff hired internally) for 100 weeks.
