I rotate my players so that most have 1 game as starter and 1 game as switchplayer. When the do not start, they pull their records down because they mostly get between 10 and 20 minutes of play-time those games.
If you want to get in the records, but also want to get your players as close to 48 minutes, you do not have much options. ;) and imho no good option at all.
