Respectfully I disagree. Nothing keeps me more invested like friends to play with. If I want to win every game and play against bots ill go play 2k. I want the thrill of trying something tactically or catching some D3 fallen giant napping and win by the skin of my teeth.

Plus, I interviewed 5 of the last 6 managers to promote out of my old league before consolidation. All 5 relegated right away.
Now promoted teams will be ready to compete when we get to D3.

The doctor is in...

bs, I played in the most boring IV'th division last season where I went 21-1, by basically not doing anything with the team, lost in the finals and that's that, the only thing interesting was training, which has nothing to do with the divisions. This year post consolidation I am in an interesting league, and I now have to invest my money smartly in terms of having a tactical plan, in order to win it. now you tell me that what is making people leave the game is playing the whole season up to the finals against bots instead playing again real players?

I understand your point of view but you understand that it is not the only one. There are many teams that have suddenly found themselves in much more competitive leagues than before. I think they should've consolidated leagues more slowly based on promotion and relegation and not so wildly.

In others forums there are teams compalining

The problem that I see is this. With D4 being much more competitive, they should have increased weekly TV and attendance for D4 teams, which are always low. Now teams will not make enough money to be able to rebuild. They will get stuck in the endless cycle, where as before, you could reset against bots, and then get back to competition after one boring season against bots. It gave teams a chance to rebuild and get their fans back into the team again. Now that will be all but impossible. If you aren’t competitive in your D4, you will lose even more money, leading people to quitting the game.

As a returning player, I prefered my old league with half bots rather than the new one full of new managers trying to compete from day one. But my reflexion is only based on an economic point of view as I want to rebuild infrastructures and arena as fast as possible.
I really think "real" new managers would prefer the new system with managers of their level rather than bots.

That's how I understood it and I am totaly fine with it. Thank you for explaining the reasoning behind this reform.

basically I think you have good ideas but you don't get the "how" right.

Your analysis of the situation is very simplistic, you have reduced the kinds of teams to two types and there are many more. Many more ways to have fun.

Perhaps you are not prepared to analize and change the game? modesty please

Yes, well, I'm not liking anything about last decisions:
- You change the leagues causing economic damage to teams.
- With the issue of fatigue you put it on and take it off in the middle of the season.
- Suddenly you sanction transfers of young players... but they continue to be done.

There is like a tremendous improvisation.

In this case you should have consolidated leagues with promotions and relegations, slower but fairer
