For those 4 matches you can reward the home team with the average income of the league

I know what you mean, it seems fair, but there will be an inportant issue. Each team will lose money from 4 home games!

Or you can split the income between both teams, as is done in PlayOff.

Yes, each team will get 50% of the revenue of 8 cross-conference-games … for some less, for some more.

And after that will come other suggestion: the games to be played on the same arena, because some teams will play on a bigger arena..

I think there is a solution for the economical unpleasantries, but the competion will benefit.

It can work as they do. Whoever is playing local is the one which "uses" his arena so the income of that is split between both teams. Yes, it may be better for some and worst for some others, but at least not any more HCA.

PKT desde la Temporada 4

Do you believe, the current schedule is better?

When it is possible to face 5-8 seed at home and no one is interested in because 1-4 seed easily wiped the floor with your team due to HCA?

Split the money, take (or reduce) the HCA … its not that bad 🤷‍♂️

You literally open the gates for mid season griefing this way.

Say you play your rival of whom you can assume his economy, can't be too bright. You set your ticket prices to max and send them to bankruptcy range.

Also with neutral court you make PR staff with spec obsolete.

I'm not saying it's optimal. But almost nothing is. Look at b3, you can have bad luck during season and you barely make it to PO because of that... then you play all your games away. Just because you lost to let's say TWT and Essec.

Sometimes life gives you lemons

What about changing the HCA each season? E.g. in my league I have an opponent similarly strong in a long-term, but until this season, for 4 seasons in a row I had played him at home and thus beaten him.

Don't like the neutral arena suggestion, you still have many more "luck" dependencies in the schedule.
