clearly, jump shooting is the most important thing you can have... even biggie knew it 10 years before the game came out.

Based on your opening game against Yjet, I'd say both of your teams highly undervalue perimeter defense.

Or any defense whatsoever. 300+ points without an overtime?

Anybody that is going to quote Biggie is fine by me. And I think some of us from last season are around, the forums just never got going however. I'm glad to see that some of the new guys are talkative though. And perimeter defense = key

who needs any perimiter defense when you are 69 for 129 from the field and 17 for 35 from beyond the arc and score 173 on someone?

By the same token, you could say:

who needs any perimeter defense when you are 63 for 116 from the field and 11 for 27 from beyond the arc and score 158 on someone?

you can keep on playing defensively. We will see where it gets you and we will see where my all out offense gets me. It will be an interesting race.

Fair enough, and honestly, best of luck to you.

It's not much of a race for me, I'm rebuilding this (and likely the next few) season(s).

I wasn't trying to start some sort of flame-war, I was just suggesting that defense is no more overrated than most other skills. Can we at least come to an agreement that Shot Blocking is overrated on C/PFs?
