ok why you should make short contract, when it is equal to long contracts? The only different is, that you could train without a salary increase with a long contract, so everybody would make 5 season contracts.

its not equal though and you just answered why.

you wouldn't always give a 5 year contract. just like it doesn't happen in real life. you give the long contracts to your young high potential players

why not? Hey sometimes even my non trainees get training, so why i like to pay more salary to then? And the probablity that they are in my team for a while ain't that low, higher then with other players?

I think it's a bit of a useless option, because it will not have any influence on the game.

Every player now has a contract for life. This doesn't have any influence on the costs.
If you have a limited contract, you are only getting higher costs for no reason.
Transferlist stays the same, the only thing that I can think of is: that more players will be available on the transferlist because people forget to sign another contract.

Plus it will be more difficult and will be a more specific managementgame, while I think that the developers are trying to keep it simple and more arcade.

I actualy would like to see contracts; The longer the contract the lower the salary gets. However, if you like to brake the contract then you would be forced to pay some penalty.

I kind of like the idea of letting the players "respond" to have happy they are with the minutes they get, but I think it requires quite some thinkikng to implement t in a good way.

I like the idea, but then the players without team have to be also available for transfers..
