I only feel qualified to respond because I watch soooo many NBA games. In the NBA the talent is outstanding across the board. The difference between the best SG and the worst SG arent that extreme, though it may seem like it. Yes Kobe or Lebron are just rediculously great, but the #10 SG or SF(whoever he is) isnt to shabby either.

In my short experience this game seems to mimic NCAA basketball moreso than NBA. Just my opinion of course. The NCAA plays more team based O and D (like 2-3 zone most of the game, etc.) whereas the NBA they sometimes call a different individual play everytime down the court on O. And the defenses are more a hybrid of zone/man that is constantly evolving to the situation, play by play (according to an interview on Jim Rome Is Burning with Kobe Bryant). Talent levels per position per team vary considerably more in the NCAA than the NBA as well, imho.

Just my theory, tear it down at will :)
