It is not swindling to put guys up for sale at higher than market rates.
It is actually a useful tool. Many people use this to shop their players around to see what people will bid for them. There is nothing wrong with that.
If you don't spend a lot of time on the market, there is no way to know what players are worth. The only way to know is to put them up for sale at a price and see what happens. You can't trust transfer compare - for example, in the case of SFs transfer compare is garbage and completely unusable.
So people have to be free to be able to put guys up for sale at a price of their choosing. Then, if he sells and the price is above the market, the GMs do a price adjustment.
(note also that some people just want to brag about their players so transferring them at astronomical rates gives them that outlet)
