I just want to say a few things. Shaq lost baby. Well done Bongo players. Next I like the Bongo players. He has a well managed team. He is a nice guy. He deserves a win. If I have to lose to someone it is good that it is him. Good luck to both finalists.

but...

can anyone please tell me how I lost that game. I have better players at every position. I had better ratings in every category. But what I have to figure out if I am to ever win this league is how? I'm not complaining, I lost, that is it. But I don't know why? I won every rating. Outside scoring better, inside scoring much, much better, defence the same, rebounding better and offensive flow better.

I have better players at every position.

PG
Wilhelm Reichensperger 30k Prof GS 11.5 rating
v
Gorgozola Quindimil 12k resp GS 9.0 rating

SG
Artur Barnet 40k strong GS 12.0 rating
v
Ivan Elias 14k prof GS 9.0 rating

SF
Jamie Baker Friel 16k strong GS 9.0 rating
v
Ant Eads 9k resp GS 9.0 rating (trained?)

PF
Du Xuanwen 22k prof GS 11.5 rating
v
Franco Romito 12k strong GS 11.0 rating

C
Kelly Lockwood 20k strong GS 12.5 rating (trained estimated salary next season $60,124)
v
Cecil Arrowsmith 10k strong GS 12.0 rating (trained?)

So I have the best ratings in every categoty, the best players at every position, the best game shape and I still lost. Maybe I have totally misunderstood the game somehow and having worse players is better. How?

I am trying to find any measure that tells me how this happened. BB prospectus rates teams best performance for the season. Mine was against the Bongo players scoring 121. Their best for the season was weeks ago against Brisbane Thunder but was much worse, only 110. I just can't find any measure besides the final score that tells me how or why they won.

From now on I wish to be known as The Big Dissapointment.

Just had a quick look over your game. Your Assist/turnover ratio was quite bad.

How is the handling/passing of your team? Giving up 11 possessions can account for 22 points, considering your opponent had 5 turnovers we can say that they had at least 6 more possessions than you did. Providing they scored on each possession that is at least 12 points (not including 3 pointers). All that considered you were playing away and in the playoffs, which could attribute to your less than stellar shooting % I'd say that you were unlucky.

Home Court Advantage + Enthusiasm are way too underrated in this game

Yeah baby I shot like a rookie & my guards took so many more shots than the C. Selling their stupid asses right now. Barnet claims he has tremendous JS & JR but I think he is a liar his 5-20 was 1/2 the problem. Passing is 1 of my main focuses, only Du is really lame and basically everyone is good.

This draft is the other dissapointment. 7 x 5 ball guys, oh yeah baby, then I interview them, none above 3 potential. Losers!

LOL.
I have a few things to say.

1. You spelt disappointment wrong in one of your posts, (very disappointing). See what I did there?

2. I am beating TBP 30 - 18 at the end of the 1st quarter.

3. Your Game Shape is a little less than TBP, with your game shap mainly comprising of strong, averages and respectables, and TBP's Game Shape consists of mainly proficients, respectables and strongs.

4. I can tell this myself but your enthusiasm may be low, or if it is not low, maybe TBP have a higher enthusiasm by 2 or 3 points.

Enthusiasm and Game Shape are underrated as someone said before which I cannot name because I can't be bothered to check because I have to go back to the forum and I cant be bothered to type this up again. So Game Shape and Enthusiasm can actually effect the game drastically. I only learnt this about a few weeks ago. Good luck to you in the future "The Big Disappointment" (I swear I saw it spelt differently before).

Well this is it! 12minutes for my guys to become legends..... or not ha

Shaq I don't know how your guards took so many shots in a low post game, maybe need more overall passing? But I think that was biggest factor along with HCA

Thanks, I think it was might OD too. I been working on it for ages! Anyway I got it easy. To be honest our league isn't very good, including me. I'm probably going to get smashed in Div II but hopefully with the increased income and promotion bonus I can make my team better. Good luck to everyone next season.

For those of you who remain in III.7, I think Sonic Booms will take the title if he can match his talking.

Good Game TBP. I hope to see you soon. Maybe you can promote next season if you can step your game up a little bit.

I've been in Div III for so long, for 7 seasons (came in season 13) and I had been in the finals 3 times and had an unexpected loss in the QF last season in which I was hoping to be able to take the title.

Once again Thank You for the challenges you put me through. I thank all of you.

GG

Yeah I noticed just now of your new acquired player. Why don't you look for younger players though, because your going to be keeping them for many seasons, and you don't want him to grow old too quick.

I agree mate but have a look at my team, all the starters bar one are under 24, I think you need some experienced dudes in there to help out the young ones, he also has the stats I wanted to fill his spot on the court, where that is you will have to wait to see.. :)
