Interesting, so your SF's OD/ID skills (which I assume are his best skills) stay but everything else drops. So there goes my theory of matching RL. According to the manual, it states that the higher the skill, the faster the drop ... but that is not what you and I see.

if by "real life" we mean cruel, then BB imitated real life last night. i feel terrible my thugs took out your new SF not only for the game but effectively for the rest of the season. an $80,000, $2 million SF must be a very special player and to see him go down -- double shots in the eggnog!

Random question, but what exactly is Kurgan's plan? Two CT's in a row? Somehow hoping Rocket Science wins two more so he can grab a higher draft pick? Tanking his enthusiasm so much he can convince Red Conference's 6th seed he's no threat, and they should throw the 2nd game for extra game revenue?

Yeah, kind of a bummer to see him goes down for that long, especially this late in the season. Oh well, we'll go at it again next season ... hopefully, it will be with a bit more focus and planning.

Has anyone noticed the inflated prices of players over the past couple seasons? I've sold players for more than what I purchased them for when they've only gotten older and should have depreciated in value. Acquiring new players at good value has been difficult as well. My suspicion is that the addition of the utopia teams meant more competitive teams fighting over a smaller amount of skilled players. This increase in demand has me wanting to sell my team for absurd cash and train players until the inflation bubble bursts. Or at least I hope it bursts after a few utopia drafts brings the supply back up. Thoughts?

Well, he did the right thing CTing me. He would've had a chance to win had not one of his players gotten hurt (& maybe gotten a break his way). I was ready to play normal ... until I noticed that his team salary was 1/2 of mine ...

I guess his plan was to try & stay in the NBBA. If he would've beaten me, he would've had a fighting chance at the 6th seed & a matchup vs. Rocket Science, who SEEM to be asleep at the wheel (I hope that comment doesn't come back to haunt me)

- I'm talking about Kurgans, of course ...
