Weekly salary: $ 4 259

DMI: 38500
Age: 18
Height: 6'8" / 203 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: proficient
Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: pitiful Handling: average
Driving: average Passing: pitiful
Inside Shot: respectable ↑ Inside Def.: average ↑
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: respectable

Have gotten a few pops, should I train stamina at all or just leave it for now?
Was planning on training inside shot/defense for most this season with a little 1on1 and maybe some pressure or passing.

I might if the problem continues... but for now.... I want to see if he will train this week (most probably since he didn't last week)... all 3 of my trainees had 48 last week and Dupre did not train..... the other two did train.... haha bad luck XD.....

What I also would like to get SOON..... is a lvl 5 trainer.....

This is an incredibly inefficient way to train. As long as you've got two guys at 45+ minutes or three guys at 40+ (or even if you've got two guys in the 40s and your primary trainee at 48+) or whatever I would just train as normal. You will never get any effective training out of your players if you keep doing what you're doing.

Why are you having so much trouble getting 48+ minutes? Are you setting the same player at starter, backup, reserve? How badly are your minutes screwed up?

Chris is asking some good questions and giving good advice so... Unless I reply just assume I am agreeing with what he says.

Here's a tool I came across when I was cleaning up old links in my favourites menu.

http://www.bb-stats.org/ntscout.php5

They've updated it quite a bit since I last visited, and one of the additions is a script that allows you to sort every Canadian player in any BB country up to 22 years old... which means anyone can find a Canadian player with U-21 potential regardless of whether or not they've been tracked since they were 18.

You can correct me if I am wrong but... I checked this out at the beginning of the season. I believe it requires a user to log in to BB-stats in order for their player to show up here. I noticed that quite a few players on the tracking list did not appear.

I also noticed that some players were a year younger than they should have been, which implied to me that they do not age unless the owner logs in again.

I'm sure we could find a use for this tool, but I don't think it could completely replace the scouting efforts that RIP did in the past, and that others are doing now.

Someone from the league of the player has to log in. I believe you can search for leagues in each country to see when the last time someone has logged in. It won't replace scouting, but it can help you maybe find a player who slipped through the cracks or wasn't drafted.

If you want to train the guy to a high level: Train him in the first game of the week so if he goes down injured for the one game you can play him again in the scrimmage to get him 48+.

If your concern is more about improving your team more broadly then consider selling the guy now and/or just training the two guys who got minutes each week. There's no compelling reason to be team training in three game weeks on a regular basis.
