Yes I know that, but would be much more better chances to team without good free trow shooters... off cause not in every gale technical fouls but even sometimes... Depends on your luck and how good is your "relationship" with Random (if it loves you or not)

i'm sorry... in europe now you can't foul to stop the clock at the end of the game? that's just silly if true.. and utterly unenforceable.

We can, but now is like in Football if you aren`t playing to the ball but to the hands or even body just for do foul doesn`t expecting to steal ball you get technical foul... So thats why I suggested implement random into this...

As far as I know in europe the clock stops at every moment in the last minute of the game. Even when the ball goes out of bounce.

The "bug" with the shot clock vs game clock reset still isn't fixed.

It happens here: (http://208.75.213.40/BBWeb/reportmatch.aspx?matchid=1259&...)

Defensive rebound at 6:33, PF at 6:19, shot clock resets to 14 in the vieuwer, but I think to 24 in the game engine code. Shots taken at 5:55, which is exactly 24 seconds after the PF.

I think that these changes made the game more interesting, but there are still some things to be fixed...
For example, (2500884)
I was in a lead by 3 points with 24 seconds left and made offensive rebound, but took a shot after only 2 seconds (and missed), and went after in OT and lost game... This is something what I think is almost never going to happen in a real game... When in lead and you can have the whole 24 seconds left you would want to keep the ball as long as you can, or wait to receive foul, but not take a shot right after 2 seconds...

The other thing what seems like a presentational bugg is that offensive rebound is shown tvice (0:22 bolded)

0:24 Angel Roo attempts a jump shot from the wing, guarded closely by Ricardo Galo.
0:24 Shot missed
0:22 Angel Roo cleans the offensive glass.
0:22 Angel Roo collects the rebound
and goes back up for the shot, guarded closely by Ricardo Galo.
0:22 Shot missed.

I disagree... people getting offensive boards if they think they've got a great shot will take the easy two points no matter what even if down. I think i should make the threshold of whether to take the shot higher than the threshold normally, but I don't think its necessarily a flaw that your player tried to get the easy two points. Certainly if the shot were a higher percentage than a FT he'd take it, cause if they didn't go right back up the other team should have fouled.

If it had been off of a defensive rebound, or had he passed to another player, I'd agree, but not in that case.

That play makes perfect sense.

Agree with what Forrest and Juice said...

Another thing to add, though. Even if a play isn't the most logical thing in the world, it should still happen now and then. The game engine shouldn't model players as perfectly rational machines. At times, they should take ill-advised shots, foul when they shouldn't, not foul when they should, or call timeouts when they have none left.
