If you have the time or inclination to do an update I would be curious as to where Will Williams sits with 43 games

I would love to as well but I would need to be supporter to see how many national games have been played. Otherwise manual counting of each player. TT

Where were you accessing these stats, when you were. I'm working on updating all of these stats at the moment. It seems there'd be an interest for it.

I went through each national player history. I last updated this in 2013. This was before the introduction of national player statistics.

From what I can see the national player statistics, at least the season top-three data, includes all games played, including scrimmages. I'm currently compiling a data base of National Player statistics so based on that was planning to include all games - including scrimmages - in the totals. It's going to take a while - doing it around work and kids - but I think it will make interesting reading. I'm coming across the odd game from back in the early years where it's not displaying a player rating, but my plan is to also include a cumulative Player Rating total. What made me think of this is when you look at the Aussie team that dominated seasons three and five their player ratings were REALLY low and there seems to have been less competition to make that side, so many of those early players dominate the All Time Stats counts of Points, Rebounds and Games played. But playing 130 games at a 10 point Player Rating average and playing 95 games at a 18 point Player Rating Average is not the same, I don't think, so I thought I'd look at that too. Just for interests sake. Hopefully I'll have it done by the end of the 51st (at worst 52nd) season.

In the early era, player ratings were lower because highest potential was allstar. Player wages was also higher for the same skill level compared to today, quite common to see 400k+ HOF big men. Training was not as fast as there wasn't elasticity, random skill pops, extra training bonuses and rookies started with lower skills. Early era if you saw someone with 120+ TSP, they were considered amazing.

Hi mate,
I finished collating the data on National Players, looking not just at games but all of the data available in your average game sheet. When I compare what I found to what the National Top-10 boards on the game are there is the odd player here or there that's a bit different Ryan McMillan, for example, has an extra 11 games on the game's data base, but for the life of me I can't find them in the season schedules.

Any ideas what's going on there? Did you come across this when you were manually doing it once the game data came out?
