That is my aim for Gogen. When I'm done, I want him to look something like 12/8/13/13/14/10 11/8/6/4. That would put him just over his soft cap.

As for Boutin and Mercado, I want both to be SF/PFs. I might reconsider my plans and train ID instead, during the playoffs. Thanks for your help.

dont think 13 OD at sf spot could lead to top division, to vid 2 probably. since people like to use that loophole placing sg's on sf spot.

Well, ideally, I would like to train a HOF-er who I drated LOL. Then I would accept an MVP who I drafted. Then not necessarily my own draftee, but at least from my country with a shot at NT, and so the bar lowers haha

And soon enough, you're training an unskilled, low-potential old guy with a limp, who smells slightly of boiled cabbage, but everyone says he has a nice personality so that's good. ;)

I'm looking for some advice on this guy:

Weekly salary: $ 3 137
Age: 18
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: superstar
Game Shape: proficient

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: proficient Handling: respectable
Driving: respectable Passing: pitiful
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: pitiful ↑
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: average Free Throw: awful

Too bad he's got holes in his PA and ID, but I was wondering what to do with that? I was figuring I'd need to work on his passing, but to what extend? 7, 10? I'm planning on running double position training with 6 trainees in order to maximize profit; I know it's not ideal for this guy but I want to plan my training round him because I want to keep him and sell the others. I'd like him to be a LI player, would it be worthwhile to make him an SF?

Also, what is a healthy distribution of secondary and primary skills? I understand secondaries make him salary efficient, but to what extend do you train it without hurting your primaries? What would you aim for to be his skills with my training program?

nice player.
first I relly recommend you to train him in one-position-training if it is possible. he could probably end up being a U21 Guy (depending on your country) if you really want to keep on training 6 trainees, then stick with them for one more season and train them in JS and 1on1. then sell three of them to maximize your profit and continue to train this guy and two others in OD, Passing, Range. i guess you can even make more profit by selling two good trained guards then 5 older guys who probably dont have very good OD and passing skills. but that is your decicion.

If you want him to be a LI player he needs a lot of passing training. it should be at least at 10.
dont try to make him a SF he lacks ID and height. If you just train OD to 15 and Passing to 8-10 its a good start and it will take you a while

for this guy i would recommend train only IS as far as secondaries are concerned. start with some time at C for a few pops (to strong or proficient). then switch to outsideskills. IS will get some pops from 1on1 training later on.

i wouldn't concetrate too much on ID, it will prob go up with your OD training anyway but will never be high enough to be a factor over another players IS/DR. maybe you can give him some training until it reaches 4-5. but there will be other oppinions about that.
dont train RB or SB.
