That was ugly. Sickening. Pathetic. I could think of some other words but I'll stick with those.

Obviously gdp had an effect. But given their HCA and enthusiasm advantage we needed to make up the ground by getting gdp right. So a guess had to be made.

The game started horribly and didn't really improve much till near the end, once it had been decided really. I don't like to single players out, but in this case I can forgive myself. Innes was 1-8 before he hit 8 in a row. Marshall went 6-23. Palit didn't get an assist until the fourth quarter. As a team we turned the ball over countless times. And this after I packed the team with the players with the highest passing and handling for their positions.

I can't say I've enjoyed this season, but I did on the whole enjoy being NT coach. Thanks for voting me in, and good luck to whoever takes over.

One of the more interesting games I've watched in a while! Seriously, those 3pt's!! The second half flattered the team a little making the loss a little more bearable, seeing Innes drop around 16 points in the space of a few minutes was fun, I just wish he had more shooting!

Overall it's still a heavily disappointing result and doesn't do justice to all the work you have put in and all the success you have had as NT manager. Thanks for looking after the team so well mate, I do hope you see this season as the blip it was, so many strange results this season, I've done plenty of head scratching.

Its been a difficult season for you and not the game you deserve to finish on. You've done a remarkable job as NT coach, I hope your able to continue to have input on the NT scene with whoever takes over

You always knew the Dutch were going be tough and I don't think you could have really done much more due to GS not being at its best this week. Don't suppose the players having a late night on the red light district helped either.
As Arrows said, its not the note you deserved to end on after your efforts and time put into this team. You've done a remarkable job and whoever may succeed you has some very tough boots to fill.

I appreciate the kind words, though I don't feel I have to agree with them completely. As far as the games go, obviously the semis two seasons ago was a high point. Though ultimately I was disappointed we lost to Italy. By far the best thing has been the interaction with everyone, both on here, and elsewhere. Something which doesn't always come easy for me.

Osman certainly made his case to the next manager tonight. top scorer, top rebounder, +27 in +/- to lead the team by a mile. I've been impressed with his play recently in the EBBL now he has a bit of stamina to get up and down the court with, and that was a very promising NT-level performance.

You don't even mention we played run and gun, which makes him top scoring from the Center position a bit unusual. Another big stat for me was the one turnover in 37 minutes playing a fast paced offence. So all in all an excellent performance.

Of course Osman played last season and would have been likely to have made the squad earlier had he not been on a bot team when the first squad was named, so I'm sure whoever the next manager is would have been aware of him.

He'd be a little down the pecking order though.
Besides, he's my only NT-calibre player at the moment, I'm going ti celebrate him doing well.
(I know millar is in the squad but he isn't good enough really)

Shocking advantage taking by the NT manager using his position to include one of his own players. Outrageous!

On a slightly more serious note, I doubt he'll play, but I hope no one minds this slight indulgence on my part.
