Announcer: as we enter the last pair of contest the choices made now are liable to carry directly to the second season. For some it's a opportunity to bolster their situation for others it's a matter of avoiding unpleasantries which can adversely detail their hopes. And for some it's the difference between staying around or moving on.

The general's are locked and loaded once again in sixth. Tonight league newcomer but old friends the brewskies visit the cozy confines of the coliseum looking to snag a win which could punch their relegation golden ticket.

Hawks finds their backs to the wall and judging by their clearance sale currently in place may well be resigned to their demise. Cal on the other hand comes into this one in a three way battle for first round home court advantage.

But a lot of what will happen in that battle Royale will be determined by what happens tonight when the bunnies pull into Petersburg. If the bunnies can pull this one out they will clinch second, but if the burg bumps them off it's all in for Saturday night.

Though one can not forget about Deronimo , a win tonight against stormz gives them a chance to scheme back into the playoffs while stormz needs this to retain any hopes of HCA throughout.

Over in club Fed ....

The kitties cruise into trons town with their standing assured while trons suffer from neglectful management.

Masters will be trying to retain a firm grip on the last red playoff birth while chunks is trying to claim a little better relegation position and if they could sweep and Masters lose twice perhaps steal the last playoff spot for themselves.

Mavs has the free lap against a iguana squad with their bags already packed.


And round 2 looks to continue their run for the roses against a hackers club staring relegation right in the face.

Sybil of course will have her say. It's a interesting week on the transfer ticker and new editions of Alfred's Angle and Lee's Way are forthcoming. So get back from wherever you have been and settle on in as it's time again for BB2NIGHT!!!!

Question is ... Will any #1 Seed come off of TIE to keep HCA for the final? Bunnies need a win to have one at home. Maybe I might have a punchers chance at being a spoiler <shrugs> you tell me :-)

Tonight's opening montage is a slow motion look at the faces of the players and coaches reflecting the long journey that is being completed.

Announcer: the end of another regular season is upon us, the rebirth of the postseason awaits, but first a few minor issues to rectify before we do.


For those of the crystal blue persuasion the main issue left is the battle for second where three teams enter in a dead heat in the win column with minimal point differential separating these combatants


Petersburg pulls up the rear and will finish with their clash of the Commonwealth against a Deronimo team which will have to survive relegation for the second straight season.


Cal is next on the ladder as they finish up against a brewskies club who have finally clawed their way from the grave in the most dramatic of ways .

The bunnies currently hold the tie breaker but face a stormz squad still holding out for HCA thru out.

And the general's will conclude another season in stormy seas against a Hawks team which already has their bags packed for a return to the provinces


Over in club red just a couple of seeding issues in relation to relegation left to decide

Neutrons will seek to hold onto the five spot as they host a masters club with their post season plans already set


The chunks on the other hand are hoping for the right comination of factors to allow them the five spot while their opponents the intrepid kitties are in tune for a first round trip to Mavs Tuesday night

Speaking of Mavs they get a preview of what could await next Saturday as they fake on a two team trying to nail down their claim to HCA

And the hackers get the opportunity to at least enter their stiff relegation series with some confidence as they get the free lap against a iguanas club which has long set sail for the bush leagues


Tonight's transfer ticker will focus on the transactions made by those cashing out and collecting funding for their futures. Sybil of course gets her say. Alfred and Lee are on the way plus we got lots more so stick and stay as it's time again for BB2NIGHT!

The first phase of tonight's opening focuses on the teams battling relegation. Somber slow motion shots of the struggles of the season gone by.

Announcer: in the slaughterhouse the postseason is always separated between the halves and have nots.

Deronimo in most seasons would easily be a have, but in spite of 13 wins they have to deal with the formality of playing their way into next season. The hackers on the other hand would already be out if they were on the other side and have quite the challenge in front of them.

The brewskies survived a Topsy turvy campaign to earn a second shot. Neotrons is a tough opponent but management is again out of the building so at least Fillmore will be able to go all in on GDP.

And in the six slot the general's again will host a opener this time against a chunks club that clobbered them during the regular season.

Stormz surged to the 20 win plateau and now they will look to put away Petersburg and punch their ticket for the semi finals.

And Cal looks to continue their late season climb against a bunnies club who have tailed off here at seasons end.

Round 2 looks to keep rolling against overmatched Masters

While those always dangerous kitties will try to pull a coup against the mavs

Sybil the soothsayer will see into her crystal ball. Alfred's Angle and Lee's Way will discuss who they think will stand tall. Hope to keep the Big 8 regulars together. I am guessing Round 2 takes the league this season.

worst possible time for playoffs to occur - was super busy the past 2 days, and did not set a fiercekitties lineup.

Easy win for the Mavs. Damn.

Kitties missed their flight, ouch.

No real surprises.

Both top seeds go to the weekend on a collision course. Let's see if either of their opponents have something truly inspired.

The brewskies win was rather Pyrrhic as he had two starters go down with a stomach virus. When I called him to congratulate him on his game one triumph I informed him about the state of his players who went down, and I quote..."what the hell, did they both go to Red Lobster for dinner before the game" ....also it proves my hypothesis that in this game injuries are contagious.

The general's looked shaky for a while, but played one of their better halves of the year to win a game a lot closer than the score would indicate. I would really like to close it out Saturday so I don't have to pay my players another weeks salary, the chunks will have other ideas about that I'm sure.

Well I surely didn't expect a no-show. On to face the music of 2. I am not sure, I like the possibility of having 4 new teams (5 if 2 wins it all). Might get 2 or 3 Burger Chefs and the Slaughter House would get bloodier.
