Does the exhaustion effect happen in NT games in season 57?

I know it’s not often that a NT team plays with a ‘short roster’ but some teams may try to.

when exhaustion kicks in

- Anytime in the 4th quarter if the player has not been subbed out enough* during the course of the game, any action he makes may cause him to become exhausted.

* There is a specific ratio of rest a player needs to be safe from exhaustion. For example, Subbing for 30 seconds in the first 3 quarters is not enough.
What about OT?

Last season, we introduced the "Player Exhaustion Effect" which was created in order to counter short rosters. Due to concerns in training, we decided to turn off exhaustion in league games, until we could make it work better with training.

I'm happy to announce that starting next season, we will implement the exhaustion effect in all league games. All elgible players for exhaustion, 27 years old and above, will only need 40 minutes per week in order to receive full training.

There is still plenty of time left until S58 so we'll be looking for your feedback about this change!

we would need to have a way to ensure that single-spot training would work. I have only two options now: either to have a player getting 48 min, or have him trained 34-36 with a rotation (assuming no garbage time). Any flag to say "keep this position at least 36min"?

One game a week as a starter, one game as a backup. Almost certainly each of 3 trainees will play 40+ minutes.

I love it.
Reading all big managers trying to find solutions to what seems to be a huge problem for them, I think that this is one of that moments it's fantastic being a newbie and poor and I really appreciate it!
I'm so used to have exhausted born players that if they play awful in the 4th quarter, I will not even notice the difference from the other quarters!
I love this game!

Can you ask the BBs in charge to fully define the problem of short rosters they are working to fix? Are 8 players a short roster? Is it a problem of teams being too top heavy in salaries, ie. relying on 3-4 high salary players?

- Anytime in the 4th quarter if the player has not been subbed out enough* during the course of the game, any action he makes may cause him to become exhausted.

* There is a specific ratio of rest a player needs to be safe from exhaustion. For example, Subbing for 30 seconds in the first 3 quarters is not enough.

Does the exhaustion ratio take into any other factors, such as stamina?
I think the problem with relying on the minutes/ratio so heavily in this is it puts a magnifying glass on the substitutions of players. And at times, the substitution algorithm can be very flawed (eg. with high stamina players). That leaves users more upset that we couldn't get the minutes distribution we'd have wanted. Are there any steps being taken to give users more control of substitution patterns?

real problem short rosters is gap between teams and leaving users. in bb world 8 players is not short roster.

Not sure what you're trying to say in the first sentence.
And I can appreciate you feel 8 players is not a short roster but I'm trying to get confirmation from the BBs, unless you can point me to where a BB has already stated this. I don't want to plan an 8-man roster and find out it won't work with new changes.

I think there are likely still changes to come, and I'm wondering if they could help clarify for us the problem they see so it's clear for users that want to plan ahead.
