Meaning it defeats the tactics of setting the offense to Look Inside. The guard will make the play according to his dicission. Well, more like a basketball game in real life. Teams in the real world rarely use Look Inside the entire game.

yeah but if you play and outside tactics, he will get even better shots :)

Because with LI in the offense you have a a bonus on inside shots and a malus on outside shots, so normally this leads to a set play for the big guys or cuttting guards. But due such extreme ratings, it will sometimes look like the opposite.

Anybody seen a Run and Gun offense pitted against a 2-3 zone defense?

Just want to see how the RAG fares with low perimeter defense of the new GE.

Interesting comparison of two matches played almost in the same way.

(12703246) and (12614712)

both push the ball + man, away, same TS (just some decimals I guess, but one day after the other), couple of changes in GS. And my SG fouled out after 23 minutes, but his rotation was not much higher in OD (just decimals), and is much lower in ID.

In the first (friendly, new GE), apart of the ASG-like score, the crazy "pitiful" OD was the same for my team and my opponent's - but we shared individual OD skills and mine were much much higher!

If my defense with plenty of respectables and above gets the same "pitiful" evaluation than another with all players with skills far below 5-6, I will never train OD....

In the second (LP, old GE), look at evaluations and compare them with previous match.

I suspect it was because none of my players was selected for the ASG: they wanted to play one!

Wow!

A combined 91 3-point attempts for both team. I was hoping to see a very high 3FG% with pitiful perimeter defense. Yet they shot only in the 40% range. Not much different with the existing GE. Am I right?

i usually shot 25% and i believe 25-30% are normal, but you have also look at the numbers that means the chanches behind the arc was better then inside even with not that optimal looks. Thats why they take much more three pointers then normal.

Probably. But with that kind of evolution in game play. The Look Inside becomes more like the Base Offense.

i would think, BB Forest would say: thats why we just implement it on scrimmage to test and adjust it :)

Probadly with better english, but the sense should be the same.
