Did everyone start with such losers? The top rating is like a 20 or tremendous or something, my best category was like a strong and I only had that with like three categories out of 18 players. Is it supposed to be really hard for a noob like me to win early?

Yes. That's why you build them up. I started about a month ago and I went 9-2 so yeah. Good luck.

Everyone starts with players like that, and honestly it's enough to win at this level if you manage intelligently. If I were you, I'd immediately get rid of anyone over the age of 32 (their skills will start to decline, and that won't help you obviously), and anyone who has a salary of less than 3,000 (unless they're young with good potential).

Then, go out and try and buy 3-5 players with 6-10k salary, and base your team around them for now.

Once you do that, you should have a team capable of making a playoff run next season. A good rookie in the draft wouldn't hurt, either.

Yes we all start out with horrible teams. If you look they aren't all that fantastic yet either but they've improved. It takes time. Just remember to enjoy the game. It is fun, especially when the regular games are going on.
