I'm still not in compete mode yet. My primary objective is continue to get younger and better. While that may seem counter-intuitive because the ages of my starting lineup are 32, 33, 34 and 35, I'll be phasing those players out over the next two seasons, but I really like the core group of U23 guys in the wings. I just have to gain more trust before starting them. I'm not far off from letting Cooper start over Bowers, but Bowers has been putting up his typical numbers. I like the idea of that coming off the bench. And with last year's draft picks, they have the potential to be even better than the guys ahead of them.

Well there you go. I just wonder and not to try to help or hurt your team. How much do you feel Marc Tremol gives you? on a Championship team i think he would be a great final piece and thats why i could him getting large value at 70k and 27 years old on the BB market. But you've been in this league a while and every year i think man Tremol is going to have that explosive year you expect from a 70k player and it never happens in rebounds, block shots or points. Now like any Center in Real life sometimes your statistical value is increased by having really good guard play so you get put backs, dump offs for dunks and alley oops. So that could be it. But i just always wondered cuz i look and say man Tremol would be a great center to have but then i look at his numbers and he's got 20k-30k centers giving way more production than he does.

yeah striking while the iron is still hot is monetarily usually a good bet. at 27 years old, the iron is slowly cooling. on the other hand, if it only takes 3 years to contend, then he'll only be 30, and he'll have 3 good seasons left for the streets to make a run during that time.

We could do an entire thread on the transfer market. When to buy when to sell I am sure as we have quite a bit of active members and some BB veterans we all have our on thoughts how you should approach this. Do you wait and get as much on court production out of a player while he is 27-33 or do you get maximum transfer market value by selling that player at those prime ages where teams can count on skills not diminishing and salary holding steady.

I will say at this point in the season my Rebuild is going well. I believe the team will still make the playoffs which will keep the fans just happy enough to continue to come to the arena despite this season seeing an increase in bleacher seat prices and in courtside seat prices (typical management huh? talk fans into accepting 1-2 down season yet ask them to pay more to attend.. wow). The training of young talent is coming along at an exciting pace. However we still see a very high average age on the roster. with 3 of those players being starters (midseason is the perfect time to phase them out as i have gotten enough wins to be confident that even without them i can land the 5 spot at worse and not have to worry about a relegation series.)..... BucsBlue will be back real soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be perfectly honest you could make the 6 seed with almost no chance of relegating, but keeping those guys on the roster Long enough to help snag a playoff spot is worth it.

Baker your type of humor is always so funny. I honestly wonder if people let your comments influence what they do. I know whenever i buy or sell and I see your comments i laugh my butt off and then try to do something to just dig at ya a little more. LOL.... well i am happy to see a bid on Vic for 400k. hoping that saturday night or Sunday AM i see that bid on the shot blocking rebouding paint protector Matti. Someone needs a true center to Anchor their team. I have a feeling he will get purchased also. boom 950k in my bank account. and rebuilding and training..... you'll know i am dangerous with money!
