Great win mate. The team definitely looks good enough to go further.

When you posted in the ad thread you didn't mention that the auction in question has an end date of 18/11/16. That's a friday. This means that if he is sold, he won't be available for the following monday's game, a quarter final, should we beat Ukraine. He'll suffer the hit to game shape that comes with a sale. This wouldn't have happened had the end date been the day before, as the training update would have put right the drop.

Personally I wouldn't have advertised him, and I hope he doesn't sell.

Well, three weeks in a row of double OT makes his game shape pretty unmanageable and pretty random and Osman is a good foil to Innes anyway so I don't think the NT misses out much.
On reflection, a Thursday sale would have been better though.

I think 3.5m is a fairly steep price for a soon to be 33yo this late in the season. That's the price people pay for players they can build around, not for a playoff rental.

Also the people who might be interested in him for a top level playoff run despite the price tag will probably reason the same way you do: 2 GS levels knocked off in the week the playoffs start is not ideal even if by miracle his GS improves to 9 next friday. Couple that with a few weeks of high minutes and some GS training, which makes it very difficult to predict whether GS can actually bounce back for the second week of the playoffs, and it becomes a problem.

It will be a hard sell at 3.5m, I think.
