Higher prices until you prices until you max them out. It will get you more money simply by virtue of the fact that you're not investing in an expansion.

I am interested in getting several posts with attendances in arenas where all sectors have had attendance, and neither has been maxed out. Preferably, these will come from arenas where the prices are either the default, the maximal, or have been increased above the default level with an equal percentage in all sectors.

If neither of this is the case, I guess any attendance will do. Takers?

Mine is nowhere near the biggest but I got a full house yesterday (253k!) on the anniversary of my first season!

Happy Madison Center

Bleachers : 9000 (Current Price: $16) (Price Next Month $16)
Lower Tier : 1000 (Current Price: $55) (Price Next Month $55)
Courtside Seats : 250 (Current Price: $155) (Price Next Month $155)
Luxury Boxes : 15 (Current Price: $1075) (Price Next Month $1075)

Total Capacity : 10265

I dont know if it is worth upgrading quite yet as many of the teams in my league are new and I am wondering about the support they will bring. Also it seems 1 defeat and you take a pretty big hit...

Having judged more established teams that have been around for 2-3 seasons I imagine they also have much larger fan bases to me and when I see them not selling out if BB adds a stadium maintenence fee in the near future i wouldnt want to be watching my profits be eaten away because ive overbuilt.

I have a PR10 guy now so next month will probably just raise prices and see if i can learn anything else from this!

Indeed, but I'm talking about proportion between volume of people which want to visit my match and ticket prices (you know, some of them will not come because of a high ticket price)

example - there is a 10000 people which will come to Bleachers if it will be for free

5000 people if the price will be (for example) 15 dollars

1000 of people if it will be for 20 dollars??? or less?

I just doesn't know when will be a right time for expand - too high prices could get a less attendeance (that could means less renevue) that it should be if I had a bigger stadium..

another example - Imagine that I have a big 20000 stadium and want to get it full - I will get the prices low, but there aren't so much people to visit my match - that means lower arena renevue - even if I had higher attendeance in all history.. do you get the point?

The only test I've made so far is that in DIV, no one seems to sell more than 3 luxury boxes no matter how good they are. So I've raised my price to 1100 and collect 3300 per game. Even if the starting price of 800 were used and I sold one more seat, I'd only collect 4 x 800 or 3200. Therefore charging 1100 per luxury box in DIV seems optimal.

If any one has any further evidence to contradict me, I'd appreciate knowing it.

Thanks a lot

Have you had any price changes over this period? Because it certainly looks like something has changed starting February. If so, it'd be great to know what the prices were each month.

I raised them a bit (not the luxury boxes) and moved them down a bit for this month.

When you say raised, I imagine you mean December to January? I also imagine you wouldn't remember precise or at least general numbers?

It is interesting thought. My first thought would be to wait until I can max out the prices and still get a full arena at 5k (+ additional 5 boxes or so), then move to expand at all. Any reason why you didn't do it this way?

I understand now that it depends a lot on level of division where are you (I have like 8 luxury boxes booked every match in II. DIV - is true that I messed last season for better draft)

but I think that the difference between prices could be seen much more on bleachers - that could be the best sample.

I see that finding of the optimal price for tickets and optimal capacity will be harder than I expected

Bleachers depend more on winning than price.

From the rules:

the less expensive seats are mostly filled by rabid fans who will show up when the team is winning but won't pay to see a losing team.

In DIV, you can win four in a row, lose, and see your crowd go down a goodly chunk. So price will be hard to isolate on bleachers.

I'm watching courtside seats this year and looking for same 'sweet spot' of maxed out DIV attendance and highest possible price to max ticket revenue. It means overbuilding, likely, but if promotion follows, money well spent.
