The good news is you would still beat up on this conference... I'm mathematically eliminated from the "offs" but picked up another piece for next season and will hopefully have a decent few weeks with training

Thanks, good game. Somewhat more competitive than our first matchup, it helps Pujol didn't drop 40 on me.

The preseason predictions made in the Big8 were astonishingly close this season. If it weren't for the MadDogs selling the farm they probably would have been even more accurate. The Believers were on the money finishing 1st at 20-2. The Gens and Peppers and Believers were only off by 1 game.

The buckets were the biggest surprise, reeling off 6 more wins than projected.

The Great 8 isn't even worth recapping the projections because of the crazy turnover experience this season. 3 teams went bot and the dogs went home. Hopefully next season there will be some more consistency.

Good luck to those still in the running for the DIV.11 crown. I've been making some moves to hopefully get into the "offs" in season 35

Great game to the Generals, hopefully this time I will pull off a championship and even out this crazy league a little.

You'd better...or I'm gonna start having my players take out your team's knees like Houston does to Golden State.

I feel like rigged would imply that there is a rhyme or reason for the result. I think they're just drunk voters.

Highly possible. It would be fun to know what the intention is in the engine for selecting players. I think "best player best team" is far oversimplified but perhaps. For this season, to be completely fair Pujol did keep up with Moo mostly stats-wise. He was right there with scoring and rebounding (benefitted from a slow start) and had some solid assists too. He did lose his spot at the end of the season and got dominated in the playoffs, so no exaggerations. France probably should have gotten it with those great efficiency stats.

Who is the real MVP though?

Real MVP is the player who makes the biggest difference for a team. Most VALUABLE not most stats. I thought France deserved it, he destroyed any matchup he came across.

In reality, the MVP voting should be more like the NBA where 10 players from 8 teams got votes and where a player putting up big enough numbers for a loser can still get votes from time to time (like Kevin Love in 2014). To think that not one of the three stat monsters on my team got even a single vote is a bit odd to me. McCloud put up huge numbers, Churchill led the league in rebounds while putting up about 18 a night and Bosyakov was #2 in assists and #10 in scoring. McCloud was also 2nd in blocks and 10th in steals. If a guy averaged 15.6, 10.1, 5.2 with 2.1 BLK and 1.7 STL in the NBA, he would get at least one 5th place vote.

Oriol Pujol will recieve his MVP trophy before tipoff of game 2 in the D IV.11 championship series in Saturday, but he will be joined by several other award winners, which the BB league has neglected for the 34th straight season.
