Not being able to use 'good' in exchange for 'well' is a peculiarly common misconception. I know this is a cliché, but seriously, read a dictionary.

People incorrectly correcting people literally kills me.

I just had a week of successful training where my top two sf's got 5 pops between them (on a multi position training). I'm pretty darned happy with that result. I was just wondering if this was a fairly common thing, or just a fluke. It's new for me.

Depends on a number of factors. Can you tell us specifically what skill you were training? And was it team training or 2 position training?

Sure, it was One on One for forwards.

19 year old P allstar SF went from HA 3 to 4, and DR 2 - 3

19 year old P allstar SF went from HA 6 - 7, DR 7 - 8, and IS 4 - 5

22 year old allstar C went from DR 6 - 7

Using an advanced trainer

Sf's got the full 48 minutes, C hit 43

Just before now I had never gotten more than 3 pops in a week.

it doesnt happen every week, but its not that uncommon either with one on one training. You can get as much as 4 pops per player with it (JS,IS,DR,HN)

1 on 1 training gets the most pops for sure but you won't see that every week.

My guy also got 3

Alison Clerk ↑popped↑ in Jump Shot from respectable to strong .
Alison Clerk ↑popped↑ in Driving from pitiful to awful .
Alison Clerk ↑popped↑ in Inside Shot from awful to inept .

But I got pops from 5 different guys - You know you can train up to 6 with 1 on 1 for fwds
No way you should get under 3 guys at 48 minutes
Make sure the younger guys get your minutes, you wasted some on the 24 yr old MVP

Yeah, I've been playing around trying to manage minutes with different coaching strategies in an attempt to figure some stuff out.

I'm not really sold on my roster at all (only one or two guys really worth training), so I'm just approaching this season trying to build the arena and get my future role players to be solid for me next season. I wonder if at this point I would just be better off going with a small roster each game and playing each guy the full game, then rotating them out so they only play once a week?

The other big goal is getting enough funds to purchase a high quality prospect, but that will take some saving.
