Maybe it's time to think about a 11-15-15-15 center instead of a 15-15-15-7 guy.

Until PGs with IS=14 and SGs with IS=16 (both with DR 20, of course) will exist in the game, I don't think they will be stopped by anything less than ID=20 and SB=18. A player with these stats and good RB (at least 17) can't have any offensive skills because he's already at 250k salary. Meanwhile, the PG and SG I mentioned have 250k salary COMBINED with elite offensive and defensive skills, while our defender is nothing more than Serge Ibaka or Kendrick Perkins (we all saw what they did against Memphis...nothing).

I Think that kind of PG an SG are stoped by SB, not ID in the Bigs.
And talking about salary... The same PG and SG mentioned will have the same 250k salary with IS=1.
And for Bigs it's the same, with Passing=16 have the same salary.
We (as BB comunity) HAVE to train balanced players, exploit their potential and stop making full primary Skills that are expensive, not salary/efficiency and no one want them in the market and few teams can afford.

that was my point...the bigger sb on a big, more inclined he is to help blocking driving guards. but if those guards have very high is, nothing but very high sb will stop them...a bit.
do you consider a pg with IS three levels higher than his PA a balanced player?

I consider a PG with IS three levels higher than his PA a risk. The main job for PG it's offensive flow and a PG with very low PA not only will tend to loose balls but made his teammates worse since the quality shot he'll create are bad.
Personally i'll never use such a terrible PG. But a PG who had IS Two lvls below PA it's a different story.

so you would never use such terrible pg, yet the winner of last season's B3 has exactly this kind of pg as his starter: 14 IS and 11 PA. how could that work? well, dyonisius figured somehing out a long time ago, somehing i realized only two seasons ago:iif your players have enough HA and DR, they don't need passing to set them up because they can create their own sshot. pair this fact with free IS on guards and you get a monster tactic with cheap, yet extremely eficient players. which neutral or outside tactic can compete with that?

I have a nagging question I've been wanting to ask. Before people complained how strong outside shooting is now that OD is to overpowered people are switching to inside offense. Since people are again complaining about inside offense team being to cheap to make SB was changed to counter this. Do people here really want a game wherein teams can't score against each other and can hardly break 80 points per game?

In lower leagues league 3 and league 4 I really don't think people will feel much about defense sets. If you get a pure scorer its hard to stop that kind of player from scoring in lower leagues.

And no matter how the devs changes defense, the more intelligent ones will find other ways to go around the changes. Happens in every game and I don't think BB will be the exception. Change is good but sometimes I just feel people are complaining just for the sake of complaining.

My mistake. Though you were talking 1:3 PA:IS (i.e. 5 PA: 15 IS)
And yeah, I realized that too somewhere between S11-S13 and made PG and SG with IS for myself, too bad so long ago we don't have a clue about the extreme changed on salary that BB were planing (reduced salary to half and even more).
(14591986) and (11977302) arrived my team with 18 yo and 19 yo. Both were well trained and have an outstaning IS, but also the others Inside Skills.

And again, a 2-3 zone were C have a high SB (let's say 14-16) and PF & SF with decent values (7-12) could stop that kind of guards easily even with the old G.E. But hey, they don't need to have a extreme salary if you give them HA,DR (free and don't have to train in diferent position) PA (free) and JS. Most Inside player don't have OD and M2M D it's the most popular D between managers.

Wait, are you saying that scores can get above the 80s? I've been doing this wrong all along. ;)

I get your sarcasm and won't try to one up you but I'm asking seriously people really prefer seeing games that everytime you score it just says missed the shot and can hardly score every possession?

I have 3 boxscores for you to look at of a D1 USA team: (59249765) (59249772) (59249786). He has gone 3-1 so far, and is 1st place in his conference. Looks like some people are just fine.

I haven't given up 100 points in a league game in almost two seasons, and I rarely score that much myself. I think reducing the effectiveness of inside shots combined with allowing guys to actually hit outside shots occasionally without being totally focused on it would be nice.
