S15 - SBBL Playoff - Jaguars crush Cheesecake 95-81, set up the Grand Finale appointment with Shohoku Backers.

Unlike their previous two meetings, on this time, it looks quite ease for Pekanbaru Jaguars to take control on the game. The Jaguars used balanced attack to outscored Cheesecake 31-9 on first quarter. The worrysome starts on 2nd quarter after Huo Xiang Song and Petrus Alexandersson each have 3 Fouls, but the lead still ballooned to 20 behind Thiseas Chantapakis hot hands. Cheesecake were never recovered even though Tan Kim Wai and Viktor Sramek were on fire, and the game were ended 95-81 for Jaguars. Chantampakis scored game high 34pts on 15-22 shooting, to go along with 10rebs 3asts and 3stls. Sorin Niculae followed his miserable quarter final with 18pts and 6asts. MVP Petrus Alexandersson racked 16pts and 14rebs, survived Felip Massana & Rafael Vasquez tough play which cause him having 5 Fouls. On Cheesecake side, Viktor Sramek led all the scorers with 32pts & 9rebs, Tan Kim Wai replaced the injured Linde-Liepins and scored 25pts 4ast & 4rebs. Felip Massana has 22rebs.

Meanwhile on the big 8 side, Agisilaos Kostis 30pts and Aniol Soler scored 27 Shohoku Backers to their 2nd straight SBBL Final appearance by sinking Singapore Showstoppers 117-91. Both teams started tight on the 1st half, but the Backers suddenly turn the table with Kostis and Soler do their work, running & gunning, drive and dish, resulted in 31-18 3rd quarter scoring and were never threatened after that. Showstoppers Noel Lima were held to 3/12 for 15 points thought he fought all the way to collect 23 rebs, Pedro Pineda scored 19pts and 15rebs.

With the winner from each Division are set, Shohoku Backers will face up with Pekanbaru Jaguars on SBBL Final game.

It was not to be for me in the end unfortunately. Looks like I'll just have to try harder next season. Hopefully I can start with a good draft pick.
Good luck to both teams in the finals! May the best team win!

So.. who is out from SBBL ?

S15 - SBBL Relegation - Whampoa ended SLZH quest to survive SBBL, Eric Utd fly past Compassvale to tie 1-1.

Not what SLZH were wishing for, at least on their own arena. On the 2nd & 3rd quarter, they were only able to see Falko Rogali and Victor Nolledo hit shot after shot. And their mountback at 4th quarter proves that time is not enough, and Whampoa survived from being relegated of SBBL, dumped SLZH 109-96 at SLZH Arena. SLZH Bela Gorboi did what he could, with late explosion on 4th quarter, but wasn't enough to catch up with well experienced Whampoa crews that scored three peat of Championship.
Victor Nolledo dropped 32pts , and old time veteran Falko Rogali, seen chance to start after played behind Ng Chao Huat, exploded for 31pts and 7asts.

Meanwhile another Relegation match, Eric United found no difficulties to stop Compassvale United, blew them out for 122-84. They were powered by at least 9 man scored double digits, led by Fu Erqiang with 17pts and 10asts. Compassvale weren't playing Giovanni Dushku, probably will rest him for the game 3. British Shaun Russell-Lee led Compassvale with 32pts.

Game 3 of Eric United and Compassvale United will be hosted at Compassvale Indoor Stadium.

Yup, sure. Will come back report on league 2 standard. So everyone could prepare to face new challenge from league 2 in the future. League 2 is getting stronger, I may not be able to get to win next season league 2 as well.

Next season there will be total of 6 teams advanced to SBBL instead o 4, so down there should be peace for your team to dominate...

II.1 Final : Shwe Toe Ngal vs Chai Chee. Chai Chee favourite, but STN could go up to SBBL (21-1 record)
II.2 Final : Slingers vs Lyo&Merly. Lyo&Merly in.
II.3 Final : ben team vs Singapore Ballers. Sing Ballers in. ben team just turned bot this morning.
II.4 Final : Bobbleheads vs Angel & Devil. Bobblehead should be prevailing and WeRchamp will go up as well (20-2 record).

if all the said teams left div II, the only strong teams left would be Hobos&Basketball (II.3) and Angel & Devil (II.4). So just pray you will be down to II.1 or II.2..
