but you know whitewind the master who knows everything

LOL - I reckon hes proven himself to be one of the best

Must also agree that its not my understanding or expectation that there should be posts on this thread that "talk down" a player that is advertised.

Please if you must use insults please have the decency to direct some of them my way

Despite all the drama (or maybe because of it?), Sengstock ended up fetching 1,785,000 in the end which is a big windfall for someone who's ultimately 'just' a Perennial Allstar potential. Great player sure, but that is beyond what I personally would've valued him at.

I also must apologize if I came across as rude towards Ricardo when he tried to sell Pradip for 3,999,999. My intention was merely to point out why that was a very... optimistic starting price to be setting for someone who is ultimately a rental big.

Over 24 hours left and this player with 8 more skill points who is 4 years older is already $100000 over Sengstock's purchase price. Not to mention he is "just" an allstar. Inflation hasn't just hit the cream. It's spread to the midrange players who are serviceable salary efficient players for lower divisions just as hard. Throw in the fact that someone just paid under $2 million for a 97 tsp player who can still train for another season or two and won't drop in skills for another 11 seasons, I'd say he was a fair price in the current climate. I've seen teams spend close to that on slightly better 30 year olds.

Small Forwards have always been an expensive commodity in this game, but you're right, inflation really has hit the transfer market and made any player who isn't either a scrub or a rental player worth a lot of money...
