ooo weee, my guys haven't been so thoroughly whipped since the last time i played the Cacti. ouch! 8}

And unfortunately my guys are more often on the receiving side than the dishing out side of whippings this season! :(

Arthur Glass turned back the clock tonight!!! (98278331)

By far a career high in points for the old man and every one of them was needed tonight because none of my other guys wanted to contribute much. Glass won't be around for much longer but man this one was fun to watch (would've still been fun even if I'd lost... just a little less so)

Can anyone explain to me what the Team Stats categories of "Pts" and "Rtng" mean? or how they are derived?

i can't make those numbers make any sense --

I'm not making sense of most of those stats myself. The field percentages match what's on my team stat page, but I don't get the other stats either. For example I'm not averaging 63 ppg so don't know where that number comes from.

Looks like its a bad calculation. Taking total # of league points and dividing it by the number of league games plus Cup games.

.

Cup games do not factor into the formula.

Notes from my scouting report for tomorrow night's Cup game:

-- San Diego, a DII team, has a salary that approximates the Iquanas and Eloping Cantaloupes. For perspective, only five NBBA squads have a larger salary; mine is only $10,000 or so larger.

-- The squad has a pair of players that make half that total. The SG carries a $175,000 salary; the C $250,000. since the reform of the salary scales, i didn't think that latter salary was possible.

-- The C, in particular, may be worth his salary. Of course he rebounds, shoots well, but also has 3 assists a game, hits half his threes, doesn't foul, and fewer than 2 TO a game. He is the third-highest rated player in the US.
