Enthusiasm as a default is 5.
Whenever it is not at 5 it will slowly tend back to 5. The further away it is from 5 the larger the drop will be per day initially.

For example, enthusiasm level of 3 might take 3 days to get back to 5, but an enthusiasm level of 1 might only take 4 days to get back to 5.
Playing Crunch Time makes your players do anything they can to try and win. It lowers your enthusiasm by 50%.
Playing Take it easy makes your players relax a little and not play full on. It increases your enthusiasm by 33%.
Playing Normal doesn't alter your enthusiasm level.

Playing Take it Easy with an enthusiasm level of about 8+ is pretty much the same as playing Normal with an enthusiasm level of 5.

Hope that helps!

Also if your team has poor Stamina then TIE isn't a bad way to go as your starters may stay on the floor longer. This is just something I have noticed.

Right is not a popularity contest!

Hi,

I try to manage my enthusiasm the better i can, i can accept that it grows if you put less effort and it falls down if you put more effort, but what i don´t understand is why it doesn´t depend on your results.
It seems that it´s the same to get a win that a lost to your players´enthusiasm.

Best regards.
