He is saying the opposite. Since your team is in Poland when you signed up then your team will remain in Poland and you can go to Ireland no problem.

However if you start a new team from Ireland you can not create a Polish team.

That's not entirely accurate. I was living in Israel when I started my team. When I applied for a USA team I was asked to give a reason for wanting a team in a different country. So, if a GM decides that your reason is sufficient, you can still get the team in your original country.

My wife is Kenyan and is only waiting for Kenya to be included in the game to whoop my a.. as she so nicely puts it. What I understand from what you are saying is that she will not be able to join with a Kenyan team as we live in Norway? Is that correct or can she apply thtough a GM?

Sometimes I think, sometimes I don't

If she lives permanently in Norway, she plays in Norway. It is possible to ask for a team in another league than one's current country of residence, but the general rule applies in most cases.

Should a user ever move to another country, they can keep playing with the original team. The other option in that case would be to abandon their current team and start from scratch.

That is good to know because I am moving from the USA to Europe :) Was afraid that I would have to give up my team.
