What you think as a fan concerns me not. I know clubs IRL have different prices for different matches, and what the clubs do IRL matters to me more than your opinion.
So you would not be mad whatsoever if you bought tickets early for $200 and find out the day before the game that people are getting those same tickets for $100? I agree with you that clubs IRL have different prices for different games but they do not change them last minute doing so would be a logistical nightmare excluding the negative fan reaction.
Besides the fans in this game are just lines of code, not real people.
We are supposed to be simulating franchise owners.
You are contradicting yourself. If you want to realistically simulate being an owner you have to realistically simulate fans reactions. Fans would not be happy w/ sudden price increases or decreases thus your attendance would be lower.
If you want to be a good franchise owner you have to be able to make tough long term choices. Having to set ticket prices for long segments of time forces you to make those decisions instead of just reacting up and down to your fan survey. If everyone could swing their prices up and down everyone would have filled arena's every game and there would be no reward to those managers who make the correct choices.
In addition to this have you contemplated the effects that this would have on the Buzzerbeater economy? This would allow managers to greatly increase their revenue during a time when the BB's are working hard to take money out of the market not increase it, but thats a completely different conversation.
ALSO JUDGING BY SOME OF THE SUGGESTIONS I HAVE SEEN THERE IS NO NEED FOR YOU TO TELL ME TO MAKE IT WELL THOUGHT OUT.
If you want you can make a hasty unthoughtful suggestion. I guarantee you with out properly stating the problem, a feasible plan to fix it that would not cause more problems, and stating reasons why this change should be made, it will never happen.
