Perhaps, but I think this happened in the old system too.
I have seen multiple managers complain about getting 1 balled, and on the internet where different people from different cultures and people of different ages are together the 1 balls can often be taken with more hostility than intended. Or people get upset about it.

This new system is a reward only system. If you disagree with someone then you can't just 1 ball them from behind the safety of your computer, you have to make a post and say something. Posts will be rewarded which is a great new system.

I think it also encourages users to post, because managers may have avoided posting due to constantly being 1 balled when asking questions etc.

I think you should start a new system for Edju: give him as many balls as possible. Maybe he can be the first 1 million ball user.

True, but I got 5 balled just as often as I got 1 balled. Which was evident by the fact that my average ball rating was always at 2.5 or higher :P
