Ok, here I am not asking about the training. Let's assume that I want to buy two tall. I would rather like to know how these skills are influenced by the game engine (let's leave outside skills for the moment). For example it could be more beneficial to have C with 15 R and PF let's say with 9 R, instead of having both C and PF with R equal to 12 (... or not). Since I don't know the engine of the game well...I am showing my guessing. It would be nice to hear some comments from the most experienced people here.

From an economical standpoint, sure it would be cheaper to get a C with high rebounding and a PF with better scoring skills and not so high rebounding than buy two players with high rebounding. However, that PF with low rebounding might get outmatched every game and cost you the rebounding edge. You're going to get different opinions. I happen to be from the school of well-rounded players. Others favor high ratings on the main skills and will probably disagree with me.

i think you could fight a weakness in Rebounding through a weak rebounding PF/C with a very strong rebounder on the other position. Which is maybe not the best decision with the salarys, but i think it will work for the game.

Would it work just as well if the PF was the rebounder?

RB is calculated in a mix of match up and team mates, but when you loose a match up and win another you are pretty much on the same position. For me is the reboundrating the most accurate team rating, which predicts the rebound battle quite well and depending on the Parrot the PF have even more impact on it then the C.
