oh dear .. that all sounds a bit nasty.
I only tested in Safari 3 beta and everything works there - why beta you may ask ? Because Safari 2 really doesn't like my intel mac that much and it was driving me insane, so I had to upgrade ..
I'll see if I can roll back and fix some of the issues for you ..
