You can't forget that position is an important piece of information as it gives you a rough estimation of the skill distribution. With a SF with 5 balls, you know JS is going to be high. You also know that some other skills will be proportionally lower or the position would change. OD, Handling, Passing (or he would be a guard) and the inside skills.

It's the position buddy. JS and rebounding are the major contributer to a SF's salary.

I agree he looks very unappealing right now. But I you train him solely on one on one and ball handling for one full season, I think he will be a very promising 19 year old. And his salary won't rise much, either. Just don't train his JS or Rebounding until you have a complete SF, and from then he can have a breakout year training his primaries.
