Hey guys,

season 15 is in full swing for all leauge teams already, but yesterday also the season has started for your U21. Yes, it was a boring time after the defeat against China in the final last season, but now we will have a new chance and this team we even reach more than ever before :-)

It's a world cup season, we will face up with the best teams all over the world, this is a huge challenge for us. And we started this task in apositive way, this means with a clear win against African Champion South Africa. Of course this is nothing extraordinary, but it's nevertheless very important to have a good basic position. With our win we can tackle our next games a little bit more realxed. And here it is, our schedule :-)

31 South Africa U21 71 - 103 3 Philippines U21
3 Philippines U21 8 United States U21
3 Philippines U21 11 EspaƱa U21
4 France U21 3 Philippines U21
3 Philippines U21 12 Srbija U21

I'm sorry, but i can't tell you, that we will or even have to win this or that game, hey, it's world cup and maybe this sentence is silly, but in my opinion you can lose against every time in this tournament.

That's why it is of course important to handle with the motivation in the right way, because we are on one level with many other teams, tactical and attitude decisions will make the difference.

Having said this, enjoy the games, join the chat, even if i remember your time zone right, argintina is not the best host for you and just have fun :-)

Have a nice season 15 and please feel free and tell me, if i can improve something, i will respond you 100%

Pilipinas 21 vs USA 21 (14145)

The game is already at the 2nd quarter. Close game. Our big guys have trouble finding their shots. Hopefully they could recover and find their range.

End of 1st half:
Pilipinas 54
USA 49

Leading scorers:

Saturnino Aniano is leading Pilipinas with 12pts on 6-8 FG. Clifford Turpin is phasing with USA 10pts.

Still a good play for the team even playing TIE. So far only 1 TO against USA's 7.

yeah

i also tried to get good rebounders on the court, because of the 3-2 zone, works quite well until now

sout africa is only 3 down against france at the moment, this would be of course a huge surprise

and spain with a clear lead against srbija, hope that their enthusiasm will be down after this game :-)

For the 3rd time, in 3 consecutive World Championships, we beat USA.

Most importantly, we did it using less enthusiasm. Good job intendis!

Final score:

Pilipinas 103
USA 99

The Americans tried to rally in the dying seconds but it was already too late. A glaring difference is the assist and TO department. Pilipinas took care and moved the ball better than the Americans.

Player of the game: Bernie Daguay with 21pts and 13rebs.

Special mention is Saturnino Aniano who carried the team in the first half when the big guys were struggling offensively.

Next step on our way to the next round :-)

Tomorrow we'll play against Spain, which at the moment has 1 win and 1 defeat, so it would be important for them to win this game, because they already have some pressure.

But only because of the fact, that we are 1. in the group currently it doesn't mean, that we can take this game easy. The wins and defeats are taken into the next round, so you can say, every game is important. After their win against Srbija, Spain should reach the next round, therefore a win would be even more important.

So let's hope for a win, then we will be in a great position :-)

Hope to see some of you in the chat, have a nice day

Another win for Pilipinas U21. (14147)

Pilipinas 91
Spain 79

With both teams playing an inside game, our behemoths out muscled the Spaniards en route to a 12 point win. POTG goes to the power combo of August Maghari and Bernie Daguay. Maghari had a game high 26 points and pulled down 19 rebounds. Daguay had another big game with his game high 21 rebounds along with his 24 point output.

We are now 3-0 in the standings together with France who demolished USA 112-96(14149).

Great win intendes!
