Oh yeah i understand, i just need some cheap players to fill positions because my team was so small. But i see other teams getting older players, so that's what i'm going to start doing. But as you can see that i did buy a short while ago, a player who's 29. He's a power forward who was scoring well before i bought him.

I know i won't be able to fill those seats next season, but whenever i do buy players it'll be older better players, and yes i will save some money. At the time i bought some more young guys, i couldn't afford to buy any good veterans. I just had to get some cheap players really quick just to fill back up positions.

Age isn't as important as just improving the overall skill base. Age comes into factor because a 30 year old player with say, a 8k salary, will be cheaper than a 22 yo player with an 8k salary. They could be the same player but the older one will be cheaper because he isn't trainable and his skills will drop in a few seasons.

So don't just buy old players. Use salary as a guide, a rough guide, as to improving the skills. Salary is determined by the skills the player has respective to the position they play. To win in div 5 I think you need a starting 5 to average about a 7k salary, unless you have a ton of bots. More salary means less money you'll bring in, but it should definitely improve the quality of your players.

Oh i see, that's what i'll do whenever i buy players then. I'll try not to have more than 12 or 13 players on my team, and i'll buy players that have more than $5000 weekly salary. And i'll stop buying those 2/3 k scrub players, and yes i tried team training for a couple of weeks, which is what i won't do again, unlesss i'm training free throw or stamina.
