I think you misunderstood, I am talking about in a walkover. So the game isn't actually played, but I'm wondering how the minutes will be allocated if I don't set starters.

the game actually is simulated and played. you can even watch it live. it just change to 25-0 after it's over. so your backups will fill your starter's position, at least in that game. how the minutes will be distributed after a game, i can't say. but i tend to think you won't get the result you want :)

i believe it works, at least with tarter/backup and a free position the backup still get just 10 minutes and don#t a starter like in a normal game.

My theory was right, leaving the starter space blank but filling the backup and reserve position will give each player 12 minutes :)
Great for me :)

thx also for directing it to me, maybe i need it in future too :)(at least here in the help forum)

Now i only need to find out how many backups spots you could combine, without leading to punishment(maybe you could even get 50min with 5* backup + reserve?)

Well backup + reserve will give 12 minutes per player.
So you might be able to get 60 minutes for a player if you use 1 player for all the spots.
Although this wouldn't be helpful for training purposes as the minutes are spread over multiple positions :(
